The Modifications Committee is chartered by the Russett Board of Directors and defined in the CCR's as the committee that reviews, approves or disapproves proposed changes to the exterior of existng residential structures in Russett. Compliance with the covenants conditions and restrictions (CCR's) and design guidelines are the guiding principles and documents that must be adhered to. Homeowners must obtain written approval BEFORE making any exterior modifications. As per RCA's CCRs, the Modifications committee is also the sole committee that promulgates and recommends changes to the design guidelines.
The modifications committee normally meets the last Wednesday of each month to review applications starting at 6:30pm in the community center. Due to the volume of applications, and the time necessary to review each one, modification applications must be completed and mailed or dropped off at the Community Center by the 15th of the month to be considered at that month's meeting. Like all committee meetings, the meeting is open to all homeowners to sit and observe the committee. All are welcome to attend and sit in the main room with the committee while they are in session. Homeowners in attendence are taken in the order they signed up to have their application reviewed.
